We bring our operational acumen to the table, developing and managing restaurants tailored to the hotel, the region and the demands of the market. These are not cookie cutter concepts, but true restaurants born of the region and based on our history.

Our bartenders provide friendly and exemplary service to each guest who comes up to the bar. Our bars also operate as a service bar for our restaurants, so keen time-management skills and focus are required to be able to fulfill orders from both the bar and the restaurant.

  • Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and restocking of bar stations

  • Operate and maintain bar equipment safely and correctly

Cash Handling & Compliance

  • Accurately operate the POS system and maintain balanced cash drawers

  • Account for all cash and charge receipts according to company procedures

  • Adhere to all company policies, health codes, safety standards, and sanitation guidelines

Professional Development & Distillery Experience

  • Gain invaluable product knowledge and hands-on exposure through collaboration with the James B. Beam Distilling Co. team, including insight into whiskey and rye production

  • Represent the distillery brand with pride, knowledge, and professionalism in all guest interactions

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Must have (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid alcohol serving permit (specific permit will vary by state)

  • Previous bartending experience with knowledge of bartending tools, techniques, and best practices

  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-end hospitality environment

  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 lbs

  • Basic arithmetic skills and previous cash-handling experience

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and guest service skills

  • Ability to uphold company standards related to appearance, professionalism, and conduct

Preferred

  • High school diploma or GED

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the restaurant. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have a manual dexterity and coordination to operate restaurant and office equipment and machines.
