job summary:
Industry leader seeks a Metallurgist to lend expertise of casting and melting operations. You should have experience with casting. Foundry experience welcome. salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Bachelors

responsibilities:

• Work with hourly personnel on process improvement

• Troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes and lead guidance on improvements

• Assist hourly technicians in machine troubleshooting

• Monitor effectiveness of processes by analyzing product and implementing best practices

• Work with purchasing and suppliers on new solutions for equipment life/reliability

requirements:

• BS Metallurgical Engineering or similar

• 1-3 yrs, internship, or similar experience in a production environment

• Desire to be on the floor (not in a lab or R&D setting)

• Great communication skills, and a desire to be part of a team
