Overview

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Web Developer to design and build engaging, user-focused websites and web applications that balance visual appeal with strong technical performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and development-someone who can take a concept from research and wireframe stages all the way through production-ready front-end code.

In this position, you will play a key role in shaping digital experiences by applying user-centered design principles, conducting user research, and delivering intuitive, accessible, and responsive interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, backend engineering, and marketing to ensure alignment with both user needs and broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-centered web experiences from concept through implementation
• Create wireframes, user flows, storyboards, and interactive prototypes to communicate design intent
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, scalable, and maintainable front-end code
• Conduct user research, define personas, and perform usability testing to refine user journeys
• Ensure all web applications are responsive, performant, and optimized across devices and browsers
• Maintain compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG/WCADA) to deliver inclusive experiences
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and marketing teams on feature delivery and enhancements
• Utilize design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-fidelity UI assets
• Build and maintain front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
• Manage and version code using Git or similar version control systems
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to address usability challenges and improve user engagement

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance (US Citizen required; dual citizens accepted with active clearance)
• Security+ certification or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Java
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab preferred)
• Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and persona development
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to deliver accessible and compliant digital solutions
