Job Description

A global, publicly traded life sciences organization is seeking a Senior Accountant – Corporate Accounting to join their team in Waltham, MA. This position will report to the Director of Accounting and focus on corporate accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting within a fast-paced public company environment.


$90K–$115K base + 8% bonus (DOE)


This is a full-time, hybrid position (2 days onsite / 3 days remote) with strong visibility across finance and accounting leadership.

Job Description:
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Perform balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
• Manage accounting for intercompany transactions, debt, goodwill, and intangible assets
• Review staff accountant work related to cash, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
• Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and external audit processes

Job Requirements:
• 3.5 - 5+ years of accounting or finance experience

• Public accounting and/or publicly traded company experience preferred
• CPA (or actively pursuing) preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting processes
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
