Position Overview

Saroki’s is seeking a motivated and growth-driven Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and operational excellence—and is looking to grow into higher leadership opportunities within our organization.

The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality food, training team members, and ensuring a positive, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Support daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Lead by example on the floor, ensuring friendly, fast, and accurate service
• Maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere

Food Preparation & Quality Control

• Prepare and oversee food preparation according to Saroki’s standards
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and food safety at all times
• Step into any station as needed to support the team

Team Leadership & Development

• Train, coach, and mentor team members
• Support scheduling and shift management
• Motivate staff to meet performance goals
• Provide ongoing feedback and help develop future leaders

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast casual or quick service restaurant (lead or supervisor experience preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Hands-on approach with willingness to work alongside the team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle day-to-day operational challenges
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
