Job Description

As a **Remote Reservation Support Agent** at Mid-South Ice House, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service to guests by assisting with reservations, inquiries, and booking modifications. You will act as the first point of contact for customers who are looking to book stays, plan their trips, and resolve any related issues. You will provide timely, accurate, and professional assistance to ensure a seamless booking experience for our clients.

### Key Responsibilities:

* **Reservation Management: Assist** guests with making new reservations via phone, email, or live chat.
* Provide detailed information about room availability, rates, and special offers.
* Process reservations, including special requests such as early check-in, late check-out, and room upgrades.
* Handle reservation cancellations, modifications, and no-shows according to company policies.
* **Customer Support & Inquiries: Address** customer inquiries regarding services, policies, and amenities.
* Provide solutions to booking issues, such as overbookings or payment problems.
* Offer assistance with group reservations, event bookings, and corporate travel inquiries.
* **System Management: Utilize** reservation systems and software to input, track, and manage booking details.
* Ensure all guest information and bookings are entered accurately and promptly into the system.
* Update and maintain guest profiles as necessary for future bookings.
* **Problem Resolution: Resolve** issues related to reservations, such as discrepancies or booking conflicts.
* Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction after resolving any issues.
* Collaborate with the front desk and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service.
* **Guest Experience: Ensure** every guest interaction is positive, offering personalized service when possible.
* Promote loyalty programs and upsell additional services (e.g., room upgrades, spa services, dining options) where appropriate.
* Assist with providing recommendations for local attractions and activities.
* **Communication & Reporting: Communicate** any special requests or issues to relevant departments (housekeeping, front desk, maintenance).
* Provide detailed and accurate daily reports regarding bookings, cancellations, and customer interactions.
* Keep management informed of any trends, challenges, or customer feedback that could impact operations.
* **Continuous Learning: Stay** up-to-date with hotel policies, room rates, and promotional offers.
* Participate in ongoing training to improve skills, knowledge, and performance.

### Qualifications:

* **Experience:**1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a reservation or front desk role.
* Experience with reservation software (e.g., Opera, Sabre, Booking Engine) is a plus.
* **Skills & Abilities: Excellent** communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to engage with customers professionally and empathetically.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
* **Other Requirements: Ability** to work independently with minimal supervision.
