Plumbing Service Technician

Prairie Sons, Inc., headquartered in Brandon, SD, has proudly served Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our team of professionals committed to quality workmanship, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $54,000–$70,000 per year, DOE
• Sign-on bonus structure:
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus for a Lead Journeyman Service Technician
  • $1,000 sign-on bonus for a Lead Apprentice Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing issues in residential and light commercial properties
• Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and water heaters
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service on every call
• Collaborate with team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely

Qualifications

• Proven plumbing experience required; licensure preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• HVAC and boiler experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
