AECOM is seeking an experienced Mid-level Archaeologist III to join our Cultural Resource team in New Mexico. This is a regular, full-time, salaried position that will report to the Cultural Resources Team Manager.
The Archaeologist III is a core member of the Cultural Resources Program with responsibility for successfully executing all aspects of project implementation. The Archaeologist may serve as a Field Director or Principal Investigator, based on work experience and education, and will conduct fieldwork throughout New Mexico and potentially other southwest states, as well as prepare reports and associated analyses documenting field efforts. The Archaeologist will also support the expansion of AECOM's cultural resource presence in New Mexico, to include preparation of proposals and cost estimates, client interactions, and potentially staff supervision as the practice expands.
