:

Junior Accountant

This is an entry-level accounting position responsible for compiling, reconciling, and/or analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.

Key Job Elements (Essential Functions Performed):

• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Maintain table of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
• Research accounting rules and regulations and make recommendations regarding company policy.
• Assist with external audits and tax preparation.
• Provide financial and analytical support to members of the senior management team.
• Assist in special projects as needed.

Basic Qualifications (Education/Experience required):

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
• CPA or CMA certification is a PLUS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
