This role focuses on installing various types of insulation in commercial, multi-family, and industrial buildings. You will measure, cut, and fit insulation materials, operate spray foam equipment, and work closely with a crew to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The position offers the opportunity to grow with a new local operation that has strong corporate backing and clear paths for advancement.
Responsibilities
You will join a new and growing operation in the Bozeman area, giving you the chance to be part of the ground floor while benefiting from the stability and support of an established corporate office. There is significant room for advancement, including opportunities to grow into roles such as foreman or estimator as the business expands. The organization offers a supportive benefits package that includes a contribution toward health insurance, full coverage for dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, and vacation time. You will work in an environment that values initiative, ambition, and professional development, with the potential to increase earnings through added responsibilities such as driving and out-of-town assignments.
Work Environment
This position is based in new construction settings for commercial, multi-family, and industrial buildings. Work conditions vary depending on the building and season, and sites are not always climate-controlled, so it may be hot or cold. You will typically work Monday through Friday from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00–5:00 p.m., with optional weekend work and no cap on hours for those who choose to volunteer for additional time. The crew meets at the shop each morning at 6:00 a.m., loads materials and equipment, and then travels together to the job site. Most projects are within a 60-mile radius, but there are occasional out-of-town projects that may require being away Monday through Friday; in these cases, hotel costs are covered and a daily per diem is provided for food, including additional per diem when returning home after 8:00 p.m. Travel time is paid. The role includes working with insulation materials that can be itchy, so long sleeves, pants, and gloves are recommended as part of the practical dress code. The schedule includes two paid 15-minute breaks and an optional unpaid 30-minute lunch. You will use standard hand tools and spray foam equipment and work as part of a crew-focused, safety-conscious environment.
