We emphasize building customer relationships and enhancing the shopping experience to meet sales targets. Please note, this is a full-time, non-remote position requiring your presence at our local store.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you’ll be the frontline ambassador for our brand, engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and making sure they leave our store satisfied. You'll work closely with a team that supports each other to exceed performance goals and ensure the store operates to its fullest potential. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences.
  • Explain product features, specifications, pricing, and benefits to enhance customer buying decisions.
  • Demonstrate product functionality and proper usage to ensure customer satisfaction and reduce returns.
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems and financing/installment options to ensure a smooth checkout experience.
  • Maintain clean, organized displays and sales floor presentation to promote an attractive shopping environment.
  • Actively engage with customers to recommend additional products (upselling and cross-selling) to boost store revenues.
  • Stay updated on all promotions, discounts, and new product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and product knowledge.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills; ability to engage effectively with various customers.
  • A positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new information or skills.
  • Prior sales or retail experience is recommended but not mandatory; training is provided to all new hires.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices to execute effective sales strategies.
  • Technical aptitude with POS systems and other sales processing software.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle merchandise, including lifting and moving items up to 30 pounds.
