AUTOMOTIVE PARTS MANAGER
Sweis INFINITI of Merrillville | Merrillville, Indiana

Sweis INFINITI of Merrillville is looking for an experienced, driven, and organized Automotive Parts Manager to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated leader who knows how to manage inventory, support fixed operations, lead a team, and deliver outstanding service to both technicians and customers.

We are seeking a professional with a minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience , with management experience preferred and import/luxury brand experience strongly desired .

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily parts department operations
Maintain proper inventory levels and control obsolescence
Work closely with service technicians and advisors to ensure timely parts availability
Manage ordering, receiving, stocking, returns, and inventory accuracy
Build strong relationships with vendors and OEM channels
Monitor gross profit, departmental performance, and expense control
Lead and develop parts counter and warehouse staff
Ensure exceptional customer service for retail and wholesale parts customers
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of automotive parts experience
Previous Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager experience preferred
Import experience preferred , luxury/import background is a plus
Strong knowledge of inventory control, manufacturer parts systems, and fixed operations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Stable work history and professional attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dealership environment
